Where are you based and do you travel?

I live in Hilllcrest, Durban and I'm happy to travel 200km from Hillcrest for weddings and 100km for lifestyle shoots.

I'm not opposed to shooting out of province but do discuss this with me if you just have to have me so that a special quotation can be made.

How many hours do I need?

If you are having a full standard wedding day no less than 10. If you are having a reinvented wedding like a lunch time picnic, 6 hours should be plenty.

Family sessions are always about an hour to allow time for kids to take breaks between being told what to do the whole time. Extended families and parties need 1,5-2 hours.

Will I be able to print my photos and have good quality prints?

Absolutely. I offer printing services and albums - you are very involved in the process - or you can do it yourself. I'll tell you where to go so you get good colour accuracy.

What package would you recommend?

Honestly, The Elite package because it includes everything. That is your total expense for me. There are no other costs involved. I book my own accommodation if needed and I don't charge you extra for travel.

Must we have a second shooter even if it's included?

No, if you are having video too and and feel overwhelmed by all the cameras that will follow you around, we can omit this, just tell me. I like to have one because it opens up time in your timeline which means you get to spend more time with your guests. I pick experienced photographers who I trust.

Can you do a payment plan?

I get that weddings are so expensive. So yes, once your R5000 deposit is paid, we can make a plan for you to pay off the rest, just let me know and we can come up with a plan that works for you.

This is not offered for lifestyle shoots.

Can you help with timeline?

YES! I love being involved in drawing up the timeline because I have been to so many weddings, I know a couple of ways to make sure your day flows well and your time is used well. There is nothing worse than "dead time" where people are waiting for something to happen.

How long before we can expect our photos?

I aim to get your photos to you within 6-8 weeks from your wedding but I love sending you a sneak peek the next day! I hated waiting around for my own wedding photo sneaks and I just want you to see how amazing you looked! It's also nice to share with friends and family that couldn't be there. I also offer a rush fee option, if you really just cannot wait 6 weeks for your gallery.

Lifestyle sessions are delivered within 2 weeks.

How soon must we book?

I will only be taking on 1-2 weddings a month so that I can give it my all. Don't wait around too long. If you would love to book but need some time to come up with the deposit, communicate with me. I will always be as accommodating as possible! I cannot hold dates until deposits are paid or contracts are signed.

My uncle is a hobbyist and will bring his camera?!

Don't stress about it. I am so chilled! I am happy to manage the guests at your wedding with grace. I will totally give him a gap to take a snap or two. I'll even chat photography with him during canapés. You just enjoy your day.

What if we run late on the day?

I have the most relaxed face and demeanour you will ever come across. The world could be going to absolute hell and I will be calm and collected and you will be relaxed. We take the day as it comes, we roll with the delays and adjust as we need to. If you need me an hour longer than originally booked, I simply send you an invoice for the additional time after the wedding.

Lifestyle sessions will need to be rescheduled at an additional fee of R1500 in the event that you have run later than 30 min.

You hire me to photograph your day as it happens, I tell your story of connection authentically. I don't arrive with my own motives to get great work for the Gram. I focus all my energy to make sure that you are served well, that you enjoy your wedding and your guests. I try my best to tell a great story without taking away from your experience or that of your guests.
